So, what do you want to be when you grow up?

Remember when you were 5 years old, people used to always ask what to you want to be when you grow up? Today, regardless of your age, you and others ask the same question just reworded.

In today’s labour market with low unemployment rates, job seekers have more options. It has been clear that people change jobs for a variety of reason to meet personal career goals and  individual motivation.

Considering we spend over 100,000 hours at work in our lifetime, my advice is work at something you enjoy, challenges you, or gets you excited in the morning to go to work.

If you are struggling with a career transition or trying to figure out what is next career, invest in yourself by working with a career coach. Rite Careers  has coached teenagers in selecting post-secondary programs, assisted individual who experienced a job loss to find alternative employment and individuals who want a career change.
