A Career Change Isn’t Risky — Staying Unhappy Is.

If Sunday nights feel heavier than they used to, your body might be trying to tell you something important.

After a long weekend, it’s normal to feel a bit of resistance — maybe there’s paperwork waiting, a meeting you’re not excited about, or a problem you’d rather avoid. That’s part of work.

But for many people, the feeling goes deeper.

Some workplaces are simply not healthy: poor leadership, low morale, constant stress, or an environment that drains your energy instead of fueling it. I remember a commercial where someone needed sleep medication every Sunday night because the thought of Monday filled him with dread. That wasn’t a sleep issue — it was a sign of burnout and unhappiness at work.

Your body often expresses what your mind tries to ignore.

For your own well‑being, listen to those signals. Sometimes the real solution isn’t pushing through — it’s planning a career transition.

A career transition is about finding work that excites you again. A role where you feel energized to contribute, where the culture supports growth, and where the organization is sustainable and profitable because people actually enjoy being there.

If the idea of going back to work in the morning fills you with dread, it may be time to explore a change.

At Rite Career, I guide you through every step — from choosing a new job title and identifying your strengths to croeating strong marketing documents and articulating your stories confidently in interviews. The goal is simple: career satisfaction and renewed energy.

If you’re ready to explore what a healthier, more fulfilling career could look like, I’d be honoured to support you through a successful transition.
