At this time of the year and early in next year parents are trying to help their children find a college to attend. However, there is a missing piece of information identifying programs at college or university levels to choose a program that will lead to successful employment. Part of this decision is to help high school graduates find a program that meets their individual interests, personality and work preferences as too often young people choose a program to please their parents which results in quitting the program or at the end of the program to decide they do not want to work in this field or maybe there is no employment opportunities in that area which means they may end up working in a survival job and living with you longer. Flexibility what does it mean these days? In the past, employers often asked their workers to work flexible shifts, but today flexibility often means something different. Flexibility often refers to having the option of working at home, being mobile, or remote, working different scheduled hours etc. I have heard many employers be concerned about offering flexibility for the fear of lack of work to be completed.
