Recently, I had a conversation with Trudy, the Western Regional Coordinator for Ontario Centre for Workforce Innovation (CCWI) and she was excited about job prosperity in our province. She told me that there are lots of jobs in Ontario and in areas that I would not expect. For example, a new manufacturing being built in Eastern Ontario that will make baby formula from goat milk. The company will be operating under the name of Canada Royal Milk and is currently under construction with plans to open by 2020.
Another area in Windsor with the new Gordie Howe bridge will be looking for many workers and tradespeople to build this impressive new structure. Also, Huron-Perth is desperately looking for people to fill many different jobs. There are jobs in Thunder Bay as well if you enjoy winter sports then this may be an ideal environment.
